How We Came About

Every Dawg Has Its Day was established in 2015 to provide an exclusive In-Home Pet Care Service. This business is driven by an extensive passion to and caring for domesticated pets. We ensure that the care we provide is backed by first-hand experience and acquired knowledge from accredited institutions; additionally, we are ALWAYS expanding our pet care knowledge when new data becomes available. Our team strives to provide an authentic and individualized service plan and experience for each and every one of our Dawgs, according to their specific needs. We recognize the significance of rendering personal services and take pride in offering the highest level of care for any pet in need. Our integrity and transparency is woven into the work we do for our clients – humans & pets alike.

Our purpose: to love and care for as many pets as we can, in the whole hearted style we believe in.

Kristin Pappas, the owner of Every Dawg Has Its Day, graduated from UCF in 2009 with her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. On the day of her graduation, she received an opportunity that would essentially take this Northern girl back home to NY. She was afforded a position overseeing the Activities and Volunteer Department for a small geriatric community on Long Island. Two days after graduation, she packed her bags and her pup and set off to begin her professional career. Kristin’s liveliness and energy for life sincerely lifted many of the seniors spirits and kept them involved and genuinely engaged throughout the remainder of the time she spent with them.

After 5 winters & 4 summers Kristin and her pup, Amaretto agreed it was time for a change. They moved back to Orlando on June 1, 2014 with the intention of setting some roots and establishing a professional purpose. There was just one tiny, cute brown problem, Amaretto. A true Min-Pin by breed with a long list of disclosures, Amaretto’s distinct personality and her inability to adapt to any sort of routine change made it extremely challenging to find an appropriate pet care provider that could identify, recognize and tend to her appropriately in Kristin’s absence.

Every Dawg Has Its Day was created to meet the needs of domesticated pets by providing an individualized plan of service based on minimal deviation from their normal routine. Her belief that every animal deserves care designed solely for their specific needs is what has made this business thrive.
